Mission

Universidad Surcolombiana aims to educate  professional citizens in an integral way  through the assimilation, production application and spreading of scientific, humanistic, technological artistic and cultural knowledge with a critical awareness  so that citizens effectively deal with the solving of integral human development problems of the Surcolombian region with a national and international projection,   within a free thinking, ideological pluralism  framework and in accordance with an ethics that strengthens human solidarity and dignity.

Vision

In the two first decades of the XXI century, Universidad Surcolombiana will be a university institution leading the revitalization of the academic and cultural processes needed to help the Surcolombian regional community become and self-determine democratically in a peaceful environment with social justice, regional and national identity, Latin-American integration, universal fraternity and sustainable development.
